Most alterations take seven to ten business days because the tailor works in order and finishes every seam by hand. When the interview is Thursday, the flight is Friday, or the rental tuxedo arrived wrong the day before the wedding, we move the job up: express (three to five business days) adds 25% to the alteration price, rush (24 to 48 hours) adds 50%, and both are agreed before the pins go in. A simple hem, a button, or a torn seam can often be done the same day if you call first so we can hold the time.
Dry cleaning and pressing have their own clock: in before 9 a.m. Monday through Friday and it is ready the same day, no surcharge.
